Purposes of the Consortium

Over the past few years SBWIC has offered scholarships to students graduating from local high schools and entering college as full time students. The SBWIC strives to assist students become a productive member of society and achieve their goals. Students receiving scholarships are those who, without assistance, may not have the opportunity to enroll in college because of financial restraints.

In 2005, the SBWIC was pleased to expand its scholarship award to current college students. Students from El Camino College, Southwest College and California State University Dominguez Hills, were recipients of awards which they used to help defray the costs of their tertiary education.

How can you help? Donations can be made directly through this website by clicking on the "Donations" button or by direct mail to the SBWIC, 11539 Hawthorne Blvd. 5th Floor, Hawthorne, CA 90250

With your help we will continue to support students with outstanding academic records who have demonstrated a desire to succeed. Whatever their hopes are, they all aspire to change our community, region and the world we live in.
